Buffalo meat should be cooked slowly at low to medium temperatures. Buffalo meat cooks faster than beef. Stove Top: Defrost and form ground bison into desired shape. Place in a skillet and cook over low to medium heat 3-5 minutes per side until ground bison reaches desired level of doneness. Grill: Defrost and form ground bison into desired shape. Sear on HIGH for 1-2 minutes per side. Reduce heat to low to medium and cook 3-4 minutes per side until ground bison reaches desired level of doneness.
